I worked in the television industry for three or four years creating layouts, prop design, character animation, and storyboards before returning to Milwaukee in 2009. I'm good at working in groups, collaborating, seeing what needs to be done. I love the whole process of animation and making something from nothing. I work in Toon Boom, Animate, Photoshop, Illustrator, Powerpoint and a little After Effects. I still use a pencil for ruffs and I've done a bit of work in watercolor, ink, and acrylics. Clients include a bunch of people. I also work on short films.
On the education front, I helped to design the 2D Animation Program at MATC. I teach storyboarding, 2D animation, and figure drawing at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. I've taught with Artists Working in Education, The Art Institute of Wi, Alverno, Sharp Literacy, ArtWorks, Arts At Large, and the ACLU of Wisconsin...among others.
